Empowering Women in Myanmar
Empowering women, who are disproportionately affected by poverty, is of particular importance to our partner charity, ADC Microfinance. ADC-funded micro loans give women in Myanmar a sense of autonomy, a voice in their community, and independence by providing safe access to capital.
Alumni Charity Update: Sustainable Coastlines
Since 2012, One Percent Collective donors have contributed nearly $350,000 to help Sustainable Coastlines protect and improve our oceans, coastlines and waterways. From Isolation to Empowerment
After arriving in New Zealand from Afghanistan, Sharhram found solace and strength through creative arts programmes delivered by our partner charity, Mixit. He improved his English, gained confidence, and formed lasting friendships. Now, he is determined to empower other young newcomers.

Confidence and Connection
Moving back and forth between whānau in West Auckland and Western Australia contributed to Zee losing her confidence. That affected her school attendance. When her teachers recognised Zee's creativity, they connected her with our partner charity, Ngā Rangatahi Toa. Now she's a peer leader!
Take My Hands
Meeting the Need
Kiribati is a nation of 33 islands spread over 3.5 million square kilometres of ocean. Getting medical equipment and staff to the islands can be challenging. For over two years, our partner charity, Take My Hands, has been coordinating the delivery of medical equipment to Kiribati to meet the need for improved healthcare.
